积跬步·至千里 ——成外高新2019级第52期Speakers’ Corner 英语演讲活动纪实
成都外国语学校高新校区2019级第52期英语演讲角活动在孔子广场开讲，主题为 Tiny Start, Bumper Harvest (积跬步·至千里）。来自高二1班的李玥、邓煦蒙同学，高二11班的孙正钊同学，高二13班的吴欣怡 、尹鑫羽同学，高二14班的梁伦恺同学发表了演讲。本次演讲角活动由高二1班的钟皓炜同学担任英语主持。所有演讲者积极准备演讲，勇敢踏上巍峨的演讲台，自信从容地表达自己对“积跬步·至千里”的看法。同学们深知积累的重要性，给出了许多因为长期积累努力而取得成功的事例，同时也号召同学们珍惜每一分钟，为自己的幸福人生打下坚实的基础。

Some people often give up paying efforts if they can’t see a glimpse of light. In fact, every effort helps pave the way for the success. We all know that failure is the mother of success. Fate will never fail people who work hard and gold always shines in the end. Please remember Rome was not built in one day.
有些人看不到一丝光明便会放弃付出努力。实际上，一切努力都可以为成功铺平道路。 众所周知，失败是成功之母。 命运永远不会让努力的人失望，金子也总会发光。 请记住，罗马不是一天建成的。

Persistence is a will, a quality; persistence is a positive attitude towards life, the key to the door of success. Dear students, fill yourselves with confidence, prepare yourselves for the difficulties, let’s hit on the road to the goal we set! We are bound to win the victory!
坚持不懈是一种毅力，一种品格；坚持不懈是一种积极的态度，开启成功之门的钥匙。亲爱的同学们，昂首向前吧，不畏困难，迎难而上！踏上通往目的地的征程！相信自己一定会成功的！

Generally speaking, a solid foundation is of great importance. Rome was not built in one day. One challenge, one hurdle, one step, and one small victory are enough at a time. Only in this way can we attain goals of our lives.
总而言之，打好坚实的基础至关重要。罗马非一日建成。一步一脚印，一次攻克一个困难，只有这样我们才能达成人生的目标！

If you don't accumulate small steps, you can't reach thousands of miles. If you don't accumulate small streams, you can't build a river. Adhere to the accumulation step by step in order to succeed.
不积跬步，无以至千里。不积小流，无以成江海。坚持一步一步地积累去获得成功。
