2020年的中国 ——成外高新2019级第53期Speakers’ Corner 英语演讲活动纪实

成都外国语学校高新校区2019级第53期英语演讲角活动在孔子广场开讲，主题为 China in 2020 (2020的中国）。来自高二7班的伍怡美同学，高二10班的黄婧怡、谢昕芮、冉雨彤、王千瑞同学，高二9班的斯淼同学发表了演讲。本次演讲角活动由高二10班的刘锦娴同学担任主持。众所周知，2020年是及其不平凡的一年，所有演讲者都积极准备，自信大方地站上演讲台，述说过去一年里中国发生的巨变，讲述了一个个感人的故事，表达青少年应担负的责任与使命。

In individual level，we are expected to do our own work well. We are supposed to be equipped with a down to earth spirit by listening to class attentively and finishing our homework on time every day.

个人层面，我们每个人都应当力求尽本分、做实事，在仰望星空的同时，更要有脚踏实地的精神。

高二7班伍怡美同学

As we all know，the world experience a unique time last year, the epidemic struck many countries and caused a great loss in both lives and finance. However, China played the most important role in saving people's lives and containing the COVID-19.

我们都知道2020年对世界来说是不平凡的一年。新冠疫情突然袭击，带来了巨大的人财伤亡。然而中国在抗击新冠疫情上扮演了举足轻重的作用。

高二10班黄婧怡同学

The year 2020 in China was tough as well as memorable. The sudden outbreak of the epidemic has stricken our country, but it has also made us see the responsibility of the young people in our country.

中国的2020年非常艰难，但又令人记忆犹新，新冠疫情突然爆发席卷全国，但同时也让我们看到了这个国家年轻人的责任担当。

高二10班谢昕芮同学

When mentioning China in 2020, what do you think of? COVID-19? Chang'e 5? However, what I think is love.

一提起中国的2020年，你会想到什么呢？新冠疫情?嫦娥5号?然而我想到的却是爱。

高二10班冉玉彤同学

Although it was unpredictable,Chinese government took action immediately and did   their best to prevent people from being infected. To everyone's great surprise,China became the country whose economy had been revived firstly from this virus attack.

虽然疫情到来犹如风云变幻，难以预测、难以捉摸，中国政府迎难而上，奋勇拼搏，阻挡疫情扩散。更令人难以置信的是，中国成了疫情之下经济首先复苏的国家。

高二10班王千瑞同学

In 2020, China performed outstandingly. We couldn't have made it without joint efforts. History will remember China in 2020 for what we have achieved. If you ask me, I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this great country.

2020年，中国取得了许多伟大成就，这离不开亿万人民的共同奋斗。这不平凡的2020年必将被历史铭记。我为自己的祖国骄傲。
