英语演讲角（第41期）跑之前，请先会学会走（二）

“不积跬步,无以至千里;不积小流,无以成江海”。为提高学生的口语能力和演讲水平，培养学生的综合素质。2020年9月23日下午，成都外国语学校高新校区迎来了第41期英语演讲角。

此次演讲延续上次的主题Learn to walk before you can run(《跑之前，请先学会走》)，提醒同学们要实事求是，脚踏实地的做人，切勿好高骛远。来自高2020级8班的陈禹蓄，9班的杜焕宁，11班的唐菀婧，12班的陈浩燃，13班的达娃央宗，14班的熊壮共6位同学参加本次演讲，并由8班的陈禹蓄担任此次演讲的主持人。各位演讲者们用激昂自信的语言表达了自己对此次主题的看法，获得了在场同学和老师的交口称赞。

As the old saying goes, “Rome is not built in one day”. So, if we want to get success, all of us should work step by step.

正如谚语有云：“罗马不是一天建成的。”因此，如果想要获得成功，我们都应该一步一步，脚踏实地。

No one is born a winner, and any slight progress needs to be achieved step by step.

没有人生来就是赢家，哪怕是微不足道的进步都需要一步一步地实现。

In this impetuous age, it is crucial not to rush for quick success. Just sink down and we need to focus on the fundamental learning before we succeed ,just as we need to learn to walk before we can run.

在这个浮躁的年代，重要的是，不要急于快速成功。我们需要的是静下心来，专注于基础学习。正如今天演讲的主题：学会跑之前，先学会走路。

Therefore, as long as we have clear goals, enough patience, determined attitude as well as the desire to attain success, what if we just walk a little bit slowly?

所以只要我们有明确的目标，足够的耐心，坚定的态度以及对成功的渴望，那么我们“走”得慢一点又有什么关系呢？
