第28期Speakers’ Corner英语演讲角之“心存感激，砥砺前行

2019年5月29日下午，成外高新第28期英语演讲角以Gratitude Makes You a Better Man (心存感激，砥砺前行)为主题开讲。本次活动因天气和场地原因而改在学校教学楼103教室举行。来自高2018级3班的王征宇，6班的范可鑫，8班的廖鑫城，11班的赵睿童，12班的叶昊宸共5名同学参加了此次演讲。他们紧扣演讲主题，有的和大家分享生活中懂得感恩的人物，有的通过故事分享感恩对人格塑造的重要性，他们真诚的演讲引得观众们的阵阵掌声。

高一3班 王征宇

If you have food to eat, clothes to wear and a house to live in, you are much better than those who do not own these. If your parents are there to take care of you, you are very fortunate. If you can hold someone's hand, hug him or even touch him on the shoulder, you are blessed because you have a good friend. Gratitude allows us to be aware of the good things that are happening in our life.

如果你有食可享，有衣可穿，有房可住，那么你比无法拥有这些的人过得好多了。如果你的父母仍然在照顾着你，那么你非常幸运。如果你能牵着某人的手，拥抱他甚至拍拍他的肩膀，那么你很幸福因为你有一位好朋友陪伴。感恩让我们有机会意识到生活中那些正在发生的美好的事。

高一 6班 范可鑫

Parents aren't born to be parents, friends haven't trained about how to be like friends，and teachers have no need to take care of things except your studies. So parents, friends and teachers are those who are really caring about us and also those who we should be grateful to.

父母不是生而就能成为父母，朋友也不是被培训才成为朋友，老师们其实本没有义务关心你们学习以外事情，但是她们却是真正关心我们的人，也是我们真正需要感激的人。

高一 8班 廖鑫城

The falling leaves circle in the air, composing a movement of gratitude, which is the tree's gratitude to the earth; the white clouds float in the blue sky, depicting a picture of gratitude, which is the white clouds ' gratitude to the blue sky.

落叶在空中盘旋，构成感恩的乐章，那是树对大地的感恩; 白云漂浮在蓝天上，描绘出一幅感恩的图画，那就是白云对蓝天的感恩。

高一 11班 赵睿童

At the age of peace, we can’t see the darkness because there is a group of people who use their lives to keep the darkness behind them! There must be someone who shoulders the responsibility so that we can live easily. If we can’t be the sun, just be a star. The outcome is not about how great is, but whether we do it best.

在和平年代，我们看不到黑暗，是因为有一群人用他们的生命将黑暗挡在身后！必须有人肩负责任，这样我们才能够轻松生活。如果我们不能成为太阳，那就做一颗星星。结果不在于有多伟大，而在于我们是否做得最好。

高一 12班 叶昊宸

If a person isn't grateful for what he's been given, he isn't likely to be thankful for what he's going to get.

如果一个人对他所拥有的不心存感激，他就不可能对他将要得到的心存感激。
