第17期Speakers’ Corner英语演讲角之“好的开端是成功的一半”

2019年3月8日，成外高新新学期“演讲者之角”活动（第17期）启动。天公不作美，但细雨并没有浇灭同学们的演讲热情，104教室成了临时演讲角。5位演讲者围绕主题发表不同看法，他们或是引用中外名句，或是以自己的实例证明，告诉大家要制定计划，珍惜时间。语言中肯，情感丰富，赢得了同学们的阵阵掌声。

高2017级1班钟驰野

We should make corresponding plans according to our own situation. Lay the foundation, build the confidence, and create a good beginning for ourselves, which can have a good impact on our future endeavors. It can benefit us a lot of.

我们应该根据自身情况制定相应的计划，打好基础，树立自信心，为自己创造一个好的开端。这样才会对我们今后的努力产生好的影响，从而自身受益匪浅。

高2017级2班 石苓琳

If we compare success to fire, then a good beginning serves as the tinder; if we compare success to water, then a good beginning serves as the headwater. A good beginning functions as an axe, helping us cut into a mountain. It is also a key to the door of withness, preparing us for success. Where there is a good beginning, there is success. Well begun is half done.

成功是或，好的开端就是火种；成功是水，好的开端就是水源。一个好的开端是开山的斧，是一把开启智慧之门的钥匙，是你为迈向成功做准备的铺路石。预事之无繁，则必劳于始而逸于终。

高2017级3班 易志航

If I want to see further, it will be the reason that I can stand on the shoulders of giants. Nothing can be done well without good preparations beforehand. Thus, a good beginning is half of battle.

如果我想比别人看的更远，那是因为我站在巨人的肩膀上。没有什么事是不预先做好充分准备就做得好的。因此，好的开端是成功的一半。

When we are likely to achieve goals，what comes to your mind firstly ？To make a detailed plan，to ask for help from friends, or just seize the opportunity then go for it? No matter what you have done, these are positive actions you are doing for pursuing your dream. You are taking steps instead of waiting or hesitating.

当我们想要达到某个目标时，映入你脑中的第一件事是什么？是做一个周详的计划?请求朋友的帮助，抑或是瞄准机会奋力向前?无论你选择哪一样,你都是在为此积极的做着准备。你所做的都是为了追逐自己的梦想,你朝梦想踏出了步伐而不是对此观望或者犹豫不前。

All in all, the conventional thought that a good start mainly depends on good luck is wrong. Chances are if you achieve a good start you may succeed in the whole process. Because gaining a good start means you have those precious qualities that are needed to win the final battle.

总之, 传统的想法, 一个好的开始主要取决于好运是错误的。如果你有一个好的开始, 你很有可能在整个过程中取得成功。因为你获得了一个好的开始, 意味着你拥有赢得最后一战所需的宝贵品质。
