第29期Speakers’ Corner英语演讲活动开

2019年9月19日下午，成都外国语学校高新校区第29期英语演讲角以 I’m Better Than You Imagine (我比你想象的更优秀) 为主题开讲。本次活动在学校孔子广场举行，来自高2019级7班的唐可欣，8班的李俊奕、曾国洪，11班的张雨萌，13班的尹怡菲共5名同学参加了此次演讲，他们围绕演讲主题，分别通过分享自身经历，引经据典等方式去传达对自我的认知，引得观众们的阵阵掌声。

高一13班 尹怡菲

People are always afraid to do things beyond their imagination, considering that impossible to achieve. But the fact is that human potential is infinite, as long as you are willing to explore, you will find you can surpass yourself.

人们总是害怕去做超出他们想象的事情，认为这是不可能实现的，但事实是人的潜能是无限的，你比你想象中的自己更优秀，只要你愿意去挖掘，你就会发现你可以去超越原来的自己。

高一11班 张雨萌

Your station in life cannot define you. And the next time when someone laughs at you, you just say, “Don’t look down upon me. I am better than you imagine.”

不要轻易给自己的人生下定论。当下一次有人嘲笑你时，你只需说：“不要小看我，我比你想象的更优秀。”

高一8班曾国洪

You might think I'm silent sometimes, but I also have a lively side.

You might think I don't like sports. Then you may not know me. In fact, I exercise every day.

You might think I'm not good at some subjects, but I can work harder and harder until I become good enough.

或许你会认为我时常不善言辞，但我也有活泼开朗的一面；

或许你会认为我不爱运动，那么你并不了解我。事实上，我每天都坚持锻炼；

或许你会认为我不擅长某些科目，但我会不断地努力，直到我变得更好。

高一8班李俊奕

I value every chance which can help me be better. I make the best of all the time in high school to study; I grasp all the chances to improve myself, challenge myself and finally be a better me!

我珍惜每一次让我变得更优秀的机会。我充分利用在高中的每分每秒去努力学习，抓住一切机会去提升自己、挑战自己，最终成就一个更好的我！

Everyone has the ability to realize his own value. As long as you constantly develop and transcend yourself, you will not ignore the sunshine in your life. Forget about what other people think of you. Always remember: You are better than others imagine.

每个人都有能力去实现自身价值，只要你持续不断地提高和超越自己，你就不会错过你生命中的每一寸阳光。不要在意别人对你的看法。请铭记：你比别人想象的更优秀。
